Tips Menghindari Screen Sablon yang Sering Buntu
Bagi yang pertama kali menyablon tentu akan menemui kendala disaat penyablonan yang salah satunya adalah screen yang sering buntu akibat tinta yang mampat pada lubang screen. Berikut beberapa tips yang bisa dicoba untuk menghindari hal tersebut.
- Hindari suhu ruang kerja yang panas pada saat menyablon, suhu panas bisa membuat tinta sablon pada screen cepat kering.
- Hindari screen sablon dari aliran udara yang berlebih seperti kipas angin yang mengarah pada screen.
- Siapkan terlebih dahulu bahan yang akan disablon di meja kerja sablon, baik berjejer maupun ditumpuk beberapa tumpukan, dan tempatkan agar mudah dijangkau pada saat menyablon.
- Bila tinta sudah mulai mengental setelah beberapa kali menyablon, maka pada tinta minyak bisa menambahkan reducer (pengencer) sesuai jenis tinta, atau bisa menambahkan air secukupnya pada tinta kain hingga keencerannya kembali normal, namun perlu diingat jangan sampai terlalu banyak karena bisa menyebabkan kualitas tinta menurun dan juga bisa menyebabkan hasil meleber.
- Pada sablon kain jangan menambahkan binder yang berlebih karena penambahan yang berlebih juga bisa menyebabkan lubang screen lebih cepat mampat karena tinta yang mengering.
- Sesuaikan ukuran nomor kain screen dengan jenis tinta atau bahan yang akan disablon.
- Segera bersihkan bekas tinta pada screen setelah selesai menyablon, terutama pada sablon kain jangan sampai tintanya mengering pada kain screen.
